Employer Matching Funds

Does your employer have a matching gift program? Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to support various causes, including educational institutions.

Most companies match dollar-for-dollar, but some will double or triple an employee’s gift!

Use the searchable database below, or contact your company’s human resources office, to find out if your company has a matching gift program and if it will match your gift to William Penn Charter School.

Recurring Gifts

Recurring gifts allow you to divide your gift to Penn Charter into manageable increments through convenient automatic deductions from your credit card. Recurring gifts are a great option for Annual Fund giving.

With a recurring gift, you:

• Create opportunity for students and faculty.

Planned Giving and Bequests

These gifts provide general and endowment support to Penn Charter through bequests, annuities and charitable remainder trusts.

State Tax Credit Programs

Businesses that give private-school scholarships to eligible children can receive a state tax credit from Pennsylvania's EITC (Educational Improvement Tax Credit) and OSTC (Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit) programs.

A Pennsylvania business may direct up to $750,000 of its Pennsylvania state tax dollars directly to Penn Charter’s financial aid program and receive a tax credit – 75 percent for a one-year gift and 90 percent for gifts given in two consecutive years.

Gifts of Securities

Transferring stock and mutual funds can be an easy way to give to Penn Charter and in many cases offers a tax advantage. We recommend that you consult with your tax advisor in order to learn more about the advantages of gifting securities.
